French Josh Hansen Replacing Jake Moss Who Replaced Jake Weimer

From Racer X - Racer X has learned that French rider Fabien Izoird is testing with Kawasaki today in hopes that he will be a fill-in for the injured Jake Weimer. If everything goes as planned, Izoird will line up this weekend for Anaheim. Stay tuned to Racer X Online for more breaking news.
*Update: www.LeBigUSA.com is reporting that offical word from Kawasaki is that Izoird will in fact become the new replacement rider for Monster Energy Kawasaki. Izoird will be replacing Jake Weimer who suffered an arm injury prior to the start of the season.

This news is a couple days old, but whatever fuckers, I'm getting to it now. Deal with it. I'll be honest, I have no idea who this Izoird guy is. I'm having enough trouble trying to pronounce the name. I'll bet this is why so many people thought Izzi was going to be the replacement rider. The guys on the inside kept saying "Izoird" and everyone figured they were saying "Izzi" and had just eaten peanut butter or something. Every interview I can find with this guy is in French, and my French isn't where it was in high school (seriously, I could conjugate the shit out of that language). So I basically have nothing to go on with how he got this ride, etc. At Bercy, he went 6-12-10, not exactly results that would make the manufacturers scream "Get this guy or I'm going to shit". We cannot overlook the fact that Izoird could easily be Josh Hansen's long-lost Euro brother. That's probably how he got the ride, Kawi looking to do some marketing behind that image or something. Hansen's getting results, and if this guy starts to, Kawasaki will probably try to turn this look into the "jheri curl of motocross". Hey, it's an idea, it's probably a bad one.

Got to love how there is absolutely no mention of Jake Moss anywhere. Like Kawasaki just took a hit out on him because they were so embarrassed that he got hurt before he even showed up to the race. "Jake Moss? Never heard of him. We certainly couldn't have given a ride to someone we've never heard of before, right? RIGHT?"
