James Stewart Brings The Waterworks To St. Louis

Yes, James Stewart cried on the podium at St. Louis. Who knew he was so sweet and innocent and vulnerable and sensitive? Every chick watching instantly went to "newborn lamb" mode and the "Awwww"s were so audible they triggered a 7.0 over in Japan. Here's where my head is after all of this: Do I buy it or not?

Let's take a look at the facts. Bubbsy has hit a bit of a rough patch recently. His relationship with Johnny Law has reverted to a similar one as the rest of the black men in central Florida, he hasn't won a race in two months, and his general demeanor has seemed feeble at best. But let's not also ignore that Bubba's World carries a script that's about 40 pages an episode and James has an acting consultant on hand during filming (note: sources unchecked). Has James developed the acting moxie to cry on the spot? Actually, my suspicions are really stemming from the fact that this seems about as real as a Chuck Norris crying scene; it's just forced, not natural, and I feel more frightened than sympathetic. Where are the tears, BRO? Always generate the tears first, that's fake crying 101. He's pretty on point with the choking up aspect. That is the real emotional appeal of the crying game, the sound as you try to get your words out. I think he really nailed it with that. This could be really key in his comeback story, BRO. You need the cry. Each of those sobs was about 100K in the bank. C.R.E.A.M. So is James going for the pity card here, or is it genuine waterworks from the Fastest Man on The Planet™?
