Is It Cool To Make Your Own TV Show Now?

Listen, I don't want to make fun of this kid. He's just doing his thing, riding, racing, what have you. I don't know who's idea it was to make up a web show surrounding the kid's life, but I would assume it's the parents' brainchild. I feel like people that do shit like this have the goal in mind of actually getting picked up, and gaining exposure obviously. But give me a break. If you are really going to cross that threshold and dive into this, go all in. Production value, folks. People that produce shit like this kind of piss me off because they really think they have something and it's up to me to say that it sucks. The biggest problem, first of all, is this kid is not even that good. Sure, he can definitely ride, but I'm not seeing anything incredible here. If you honestly think people are going to want to see a show about him, he had better be dragging bars. Like, all the time. And who the fuck is talking in the beginning? Man? Woman? Undecided? It sounds like one of those bull dyke lesbians that could and would equalize any man she comes across. Nonetheless, his/her narration sucks. Don't make it that obvious that you are reading from a piece of paper and struggling to do so, at that. Love how they say the kid is a privateer, too, just to play up his non-existant situation and get those sympathy views. Like, pretty much everybody is a privateer at that stage. The footage is also absolute garbage. Any weekend warrior dad with a digital camera could do that. Actually, that's probably exactly who the videographer is. All in all, I give it my worst rating ever: Seven thumbs up. If you anyone actually gets that reference, I'll be fucking astounded.

  3. Haha that was great. Best part, they have it set so they can approve comments on youtube. They don't want their poor scrub kid getting ragged on.

  7. "Austins Moto Life" was conceptualized and is being produced by an outside company and is targeted towards non-riders to introduce them to the sport, and is currently being produced with no budget. it was not "thought up" by the parents, Austin was chosen because of his riding and his look on camera. as far as production values please post links to shows about yourself and what they cost to produce. If you would like to contact the producer directly please leave a message on the "Austin's Moto Life" channel.

  8. The Producers of "Austin's Moto Life"February 4, 2011 at 10:00 PM

We know the show is corny, its just supposed to be a fun way for beginning or non riders to be introduced to the next step in a hobby, that is, when it starts turning into a lifestyle or career quest. Austin is a great communicator and is able to bring that concept to screen. Sorry if the camerawork wasn't to your liking. We'll try to do better. Any professional constructive comments or criticisms are welcome on the youtube channel. the show is designed for all ages so inappropriate or rude comments can't be posted. Thanks

  9. Making fun of the reason behind the show is only a part of it. It's still put together like total dog shit. So sorry, BROs.

  11. This is shit and if anyone really thinks there is any legitimate production company that would make something like this then you mustve been dropped on your head daily as an infant. I'm willing to put down money that eazy could indeed produce something better than this, but you know what? hes not claiming to be a producer. He writes things.

  12. yea he writes thing, thing that are a bunch of crap, so go suck up to your precious "Eazy". I will wont say anything if i see a video of him dragging bars, and some guy up there say he looks like hes not havingg fun, dude the saying on this website is "because there is NOTHING fun about motocross".

  13. You know what Austin's Moto Life producer? You're right, you guys are doing a great job. I'll bet you are infinitely proud of all 1700 of those views on YouTube that you've garnered in almost 5 months. Not like that's what my site gets daily or anything. Of course, I know that we have to treat you a little differently, because anyone who could actually put their name on a piece of shit like that is clearly not firing on all cylinders. What's your company name? Special Productions by Timmy?

  14. How about this series eazy? by your favorite video editor mark freeman, atleast he's pro!

  15. He didn't rag on the kid. All he said was that he didn't look like he had what it took to go all the way. That's not an insult. It's simply something most people need to accept. And, why produce something knowing it's as corny as it is? If it's trying to attract all ages, why not making it appealing to people who may be older than 3? Idk why people are flipping out so much. It was a terrible video and Eazy called them out on it. It is what it is. He didn't say he could drag his bars nor did he say he can produce.
Shouldn't be giving him a hard time, that video has probably gotten as many hits over the last few days since it was posted here than it has in the last few months.

  19. looking (for the last time) at the other articles in this blog it appears that you, and your cadre of brain surgeon readers, hate motocross, and everyone and everything associated with it, I imagine its not only hatred and jealousy over a non existent career, you have to make others including children and teenagers who may actually have a chance at achieving their goals miserable, how pathetic.
